Athol, we can't believe that you are no longer with us. Over so many years you have been a part of the Cleave and Shears families, sharing many milestones and experiences during these times. We will always remember you as a friend and confidant, a great story-teller, a person generous with his time and always thinking of others. Hudson's Beach will never be the same without you. Your wonderful children have done you proud and will continue to follow your example of hard work and caring for others.

Another Kauri has fallen, Athol your strength and light will shine on to those who have had the privilege of knowing you. I will always remember your sense of humour, strong dedication to your profession and a very strong family man.
Peace and light

Our thoughts are with the Owens family during this time. St Georges Rowing Club wishes to thank the family for sharing Athol with us. We are grateful for the involvement he has had with the club as our Honorary Auditor for over 20 years. He will be sadly missed, however, never forgotten to us here at St Georges, Panmure.

OWENS, Athol Raymond. The partners and staff of BVO Chartered Accountants grieve the passing of Athol Owens. Athol was a loved and respected partner of BVO, he loved dealing with his clients, many of whom are now close friends. Athol was a great mentor and friend and he always had time to tell a story. He will be sorely missed by all of us at BVO. Our deepest sympathies go to Tanya, Julia, Cameron, Matthew and Athol's wider family.
