Athol McCLINTOCK Obituary

McCLINTOCK, Athol Francis. (Service No. 435785, Cpl, RNZAF, WWII.) Peacefully at Moana House, Whangamata, on 27th February, 2014; in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary, loved father and father-in-law of Ian and Judy, and Graham and Kerry. Loved Poppa of Debra, David and Michelle, Andrew, Melanie and Greg, and loved Great-Poppa of Kaela, Emma, Harvey and Evelyn. At Athol's request a private family service is to be held. Special thanks to the staff at Moana House for their loving care of Athol. Communications to: Mr I McClintock, 102 Isabel Street, Whangamata.

Mr McClintock gave me my first job at the bank - when there were no vacancies. I expect he had no idea the trouble I would be but that was a risk he was happy to take. I will always have fond memories of him for being a wonderful boss and a great banker. thank you Athol
