Shocked and saddened to learn of Joe's passing.
I remember Joe and his Dad coming into my parents shop at Lake Alice collecting their groceries, later Joe coming into the shop with his two little girls.

Saddened to hear of Joe's death. Fond memories of beginning boarding school in 1960 and having Joe as a friend. My condolences to Joe's family.

Unfortunately we are unable to attend the farewell as we have a family funeral in Wellington at the same time

Thinking of you at this sad time Karen, a privilege having you and Joe for my neighbour's during the time I lived in Bulls. I will never forget Jo's kindness during this time and the banter between him and John was hilarious. Joe was a true rough diamond.
