Ashleigh DALY Obituary

My deepest condolences to Ashleigh´s family, I am devastated to hear of her passing at such a young age. We were steadfast friends through school, from when we first met in year two through the awkward teenage years. When I think back to that time and my childhood Ash will always be such an important and influential person and I have so many happy memories of our adventures and games together. She was a kind and loyal friend. I will never forget her.

So many beautiful and cherished memories of you, Ashley. Your laughter and radiant energy were truly infectious.

I´ll always remember those joyful summers in Whangapoua - especially the countless times you knocked on the door with a bright smile, asking, "Is Nic here?".

You were a kind, creative, and fabulous friend, full of artistic flair and warmth.

Taken far too soon. Our hearts are broken.

Rest peacefully, beautiful soul.

We so feel your pain on the tragic loss of your much loved Ashleigh. We are unable to be with you tomorrow but our thoughts and love will be with you. We will see you on our return to NZ in November .

Ash's warmth and caring attitude made our team a better place to be. I'm grateful for the time shared with her, a great friend and colleague at Mott MacDonald.

When Mike rang me and told me I was in complete shock. I still am. You packed so much into your life Ash and had the most amazing experiences with adventures that a lot of people can only dream of. Only weeks ago sharing videos of dog sledding in the artic on your hunt for Polar Bears. I know how much you loved these holidays with Mike and Annette. Your memory will live on for me through Katy. Everytime I look at her I can see your smile and hear your voice and laughter. Rest easy.

It only seems like yesterday that Ashleigh was involved in the yacht club and we both had the pleasure of her teaching her to sail. Our heartfelt condolences to you all.

Beautiful bubbly Ash. Whangapoua will never be the same. Always enjoying the surf and beach life - winter & summer. As your long time beach buddies and neighbours - You loved our William and now both together again. Annie & Mike, Claudine, Kellie, Dave and kiddies - we feel so heartbroken for you.
