Arthur Paxie Obituary

PAXIE, Arthur Andrew. Passed away peacefully on June 8, 2011 at Cranford Hospice, Hastings. Cherished husband of Ersi and loving father and father in law of Paula, Andreas and Patricia, Genia and Mike Patena (deceased) and Christina and Mark Frampton. A service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at St John's Cathedral, Browning Street, Napier on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 9.30am. Followed by interment at the Wharerangi Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to Cranford Hospice may be made at the service and would be appreciated. Messages to the 'Paxie Family' C/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140. Dunstalls Funeral Services

oh my gosh - cuz!!! this was so lovely to read and i sooooooo remember those sharpeners you are talking about. Dad was such a character and I know he will be remembered well by all that knew him. Come and visit us when/ if you make it to the Bay. I know Mum would love that xxxx

Uncle you will be sadly missed. Spending the weekends with you (and family) in the fish and chip shop and out on the farm was a fond memory growing up. Going through your antique store was a real buzz as a child. Your themed pencil sharpeners shaped as a grammar player or car were a hit for an 8 year old.
