You can rest in peace Arthur,
You leave me with great memories of yourself and those around you.Your quick wit and hearty laugh were what I looked forward to on my visits. You welcomed me into your home and family when what I needed most was great "family time" all those years ago. You were our first and obvious choice to MC Kaaren and my wedding reception because you always held the floor when in a room full of people.You have been in my thoughts often over the years and you always will be.

Arthur , a loving and caring Dad, a dedicated and loyal husband and a hard-working man of honour from the tender age of 12. Always there with a warm smile and dry wit, while his faith drove him to always be there with a soft word and a generous spirit for those in need. We will miss you enormously. You are an inspiration to us and others. Your loving daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Kathryn, Simon and Leon xxx

MANN, Arthur John. Passed away peacefully on 9th January 2016. Loved and respected father of Brian, father in law of Sue, grandfather of Gemma, Kelly and James. Great Grandfather of Harper and soon to be Great Grandfather of a new baby boy.

In the past playing bowls with Arthur at St Francis Indoor Bowls was a regular and enjoyable feature on our calendar. Always a smile and friendly game.

Arthur was a volunteer for The Society of St Vincent de Paul West Auckland division. As a Past President Arthur was a tireless worker in the Avondale shop and is fondly remembered by staff and customers alike. Rest in Peace Arthur, - your work is done.
