Anton Van Der Laan Obituary

VAN DER LAAN, Anton (Tony). Tony passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning - at home surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife Jose; his children Andrew, Simon and Michelle; and his grandchildren Ajda, Emre, Oscar, Alexander, and Maya. As you can imagine we are all devastated at our loss, but also pleased that he is now at peace. Tony has been battling cancer for more than four years, and has fought bravely. Dad loved life and wanted to claim every day possible with his friends and family. Today he takes a new journey. A Funeral Service will be held at St Marks Church, 334 Pakuranga Road, at 11am on Tuesday December 28, 2010. All are welcome.
