WALES, Anthony James (Tony). (Colonel Ret.) RNZA, NZSAS, AALC 1942 - 2024. Son of the late George and Peggie Wales of Roxburgh and brother of the late George; and Kerrie. Passed away peacefully on 31 May 2024 surrounded by family at his home in Mount Gambier, South Australia. Dearly loved husband of Triss and cherished father of Louisa and Owen, father-in-law of Jenn and Sophie. Grandad of Oliver, Hugo, Alec, Wendy, George, Penelope and Ben. Much loved by us. Hi Tony, Roger here. I was your lead scout in our SAS Patrol in Borneo all those years ago. I'm so sorry to hear of your passing. All the rest of the boys will be up there to welcome you. Rest in Peace, old friend. You were a blooming good boss.
