Anthony TREEN Obituary

TREEN, Anthony Charles. Tony passed away peacefully on Saturday 12 July 2025. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of, Anthony Charles Treen, beloved husband to Michelle Treen cherished father to Sarah and KC, adored grandfather to Poppy and Cooper, A brother and brother in law to Ana and Norville, Chris and Kim and treasured Uncle and friend. A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at Titirangi Golf Club, 1pm Thursday 17 July Forever in our hearts.

Fond memories of a humble man who was a fantastic golfer and bloke. Enjoyed many beers and golfing stories with Tony. Visited him three weeks ago prior to leaving for overseas. Rest in peace my friend

Sincere condolences to the family of Tony. The Treen name respected and famous in golfing circles. I got to know him through his brother Chris, a friend and golf buddy of mine at New Plymouth. I recall once Tony took me around Muriwai one Saturday morning years and years ago. He shot a 67 or 68 in the wind without breaking a sweat. If you read this Chris, all the best. I fondly recall the naki days and the golf battles at Ngamotu.
