A lovely man taken too soon! I will never forget the year a group of us stayed in Whangamata (Tony & his beautiful bestie dog-mate JJ included), & us ladies dressed in 60´s style clothing sat in the back of his pink caddy during the parade of cars along the main road. Tony & JJ were our wonderful chauffeurs that day. I´ve known Tony since the 1982 when I first came to AK. We met through mutual friends. A wonderful man who always spoke highly of his kids. He touched many hearts, our sincere condolences to you, his family.
Today being the anniversary of my mum´s death during Covid, I can not bring myself to go to his service.
With kind regards,
Stella

Dear Tony I so wish I could have been there today but due to short numbers on section it was not possible at short notice. You will know what I mean.
It´s been a while since we caught up but have such fond memories of your strong friendship with Ross and the large group of friends we belonged in.
I also want to thank you as your stories and our chats about my desire to become a Police Officer make you one of the people responsible for keeping that flame burning in me even though it took some years later to realise.
To Troy and Margot my sincere condolences - my thoughts are with you today
Rest easy Tony and give Ross a big hug from Corbyn and me (Lynda)
