Tony was a great friend of my parents Michael and Sharon who I know loved and admired him very much. I will remember Tony for his sense of humour and his kindness. He was very good at story telling. I am proud to have had him as my godfather. Rest in peace Tony.

Tony- a friend, mentor and colleague to Greg, Lara and family over many years.
You have left a deep impression on us and we're incredibly grateful for the years we got to spend with you in the office and at Baddeleys.
You always brought integrity, intelligence, and empathy to any situation and always with a decent dose of good humour.
You lit up the office every time you walked in and provided great counsel over the years for so many.
We'll forever treasure your wisdom, the many laughs, fish, lamb, blueberry pie, scallops and family time we spent with you.
Forever in our hearts.

The Galbraith whanau cherish all the times spent with Tony, Krys and cousins at small and large family gatherings where laughter, love, liquor (and Polish donuts) created memories and cemented our bonds of love. Forever, we will treasure being part of Tony's life- a generous man who gave in abundance of his wisdom, compassion, practical skills, advice, time and general hilarity. His ability to make everyone feel special was legendary. Lucky us. We couldn't have asked for a more caring and fun brother-in-law and uncle.
Sonya, Sarah, Maria, Josie and Tessa.

Sympathy to Krys and the Lanigan family.
I´ve known Tony since we were both very young. His parents and mine were close friends, living near each other on the North Shore, raising their young families together.
Tony and I attended St Peters College, and both had careers in Engineering.
We remained in contact throughout our lives, even though I've lived most of mine in Australia. I was able to attend many of the SPC classmates Christmas lunches that Tony organised each year.
Tony was an effervescent character who will be sadly missed.

A larger than life character, Tony was a top student and did extremely well on the academic front.
I have known Tony since 1959 when we both started at St Peters. He was always near the top of the class, enjoyed his rugby and was popular with his peers.
In his working life he was a natural leader with integrity and empathy for others. He was a family man with good values and morals and could always be relied upon to help and do the right thing.
He was an exceptional human being and he will be missed by all of us especially those classmates from SPC who met every year for a long lunch always organised by Tony for over 20 years.
Tony, you went too soon, you had so much more to give to your family, to your friends and to the many community groups you were involved in.
You were a champion, RIP Tony.
I will miss you
One of your many friends

Sincere condolences to family members. I enjoyed Tony's friendship during our time at St Peters College as a classmate and on the rugby field. For many years Tony has organised the yearly Christmas lunch for fellow class mates which brought us all together for shared times of story telling and good memories. We will miss him but never forget him. R.I.P. Tony.
