I can so easily see his distinctive loping figure from Auckland uni days. Sorry to learn of his passing. I hope he died a happy man.

Tony Joseph never seemed to be too far away from cars during those far off years that we both young; he relished driving. We saw less of each other as the demands of university became more insistent and totally lost contact after graduation when I went abroad for three years. Although I would sometimes reflect fondly upon our earlier days together as teens I settled in Hamilton upon my return from abroad and we never re-connected.
