Annette ASHER Obituary

ASHER, Annette - (Annette). Born June 24, 1936. Passed away on March 26, 2022. Annette slipped away gently early morning on Saturday 26 March 2022, aged 85. Thanks to staff and visitors at North Shore Hospital, and especially to the staff of Bethany Hill, Matakana, who warmly cared for her during the last few years of her life. Cherished sister of Rex (Australia) and respected social worker in London, then psychotherapist in New Zealand, where she became the Director of the Auckland Family Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre. Later she moved to Warkworth and established her own practice as a psychotherapist. She will be sadly missed by many. A gathering to celebrate Annette's life will be held at 2.00pm on Thursday 5 May in the Jubilee Hall, Parnell Community Centre, Jubilee Building, 545 Parnell Road, Auckland 1052.
