Anne SMYTH Obituary

SMYTH, Anne Marie. On 1 May 2024 at Karaka,aged 81, after living with cancer for several years. Beloved wife of David (deceased), mother of Christopher, and Anthony (deceased). Youngest sister of Trish (deceased. Gisborne) and Bernadette (Christchurch). Loving and greatly admired aunt to generations of Dear Little Nieces and Nephews. A curious and intellectual powerhouse; an inspiring and loyal friend to her treasured life-long fellow travellers, colleagues and neighbours. Change of venue and time: A funeral service will be held for Annie at Paul's Catholic Church, Ngaruawahia, on Tuesday 7 May at 11.30am, with interment to take place at Waiterimu/Matahuru Cemetery, Waiterimu Road, at approx. 1.30pm In lieu of flowers, donations to National Foundation for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (www. nfdhh.org.nz) would be greatly appreciated, and may be left at the service.
