Anne MURPHY Obituary

MURPHY, Anne Elizabeth. Peacefully at home in Omokoroa, Sunday morning 16 September 2018, aged 71years. Adored wife of Bill, loving mother and mother in law of Doug and Clare (Australia), Shaun and Karen (Omokoroa) and mother of Brent. Revered grandma of Anna, Catherine, Antony (Australia) and Lucas. Cherished sister and sister in law of Jeanette and Trevor, John and Barbara, David and Rangi. Loved sister of Alec, Jesse and Bill (all deceased) and sister in law of Pat. She fought courageously for three months before succumbing to an aggressive illness. Very special thanks to her surgeon Mr Rossaak and the Tauranga Hospital staff, Peta Black and her wonderful colleagues from Waipuna Hospice and to the Omokoroa Bowling Club members for their ongoing support throughout. Donations to Waipuna Hospice, 43 Te Puna Station Road, Tauranga 3176, would be appreciated. A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at the Omokoroa Community Church, 139 Hamurana Road, Omokoroa, on Saturday 22 September 2018 at 11am.
