Just found out. My condolences to the family. Anne was an enthusiastic encourager! We were in the school athletics team together at Lynfield College. Many years later I caught up with Anne and she encouraged me to join masters athletics. Always a kind word and big smile. She well be missed.

I heard this news last Saturday. My thoughts go to Anne’s family at this tragic time.
I was lucky to count Anne as a great friend through our years at Lynfield College, University, and the Young Nats as we socialised with our peers finding our way in the world.
At Uni, I often joined her at her dreaded Thursday 5pm Maths lecture. Maths wasn’t her favourite subject, but she tackled it with her trademark determination, and passed. How fitting that she later became a much-loved Maths teacher, inspiring others with the very subject that challenged her.
I also fondly remember the small but lively gatherings at her Lynbrook Ave home (when her parents were away), playing snooker with Paul Reifel, Barry Marsden, and others whose names escape me right now. On Sunday mornings Anne often picked me up from home, drove us to One Tree Hill, and then we’d race to the summit, or as far as I got. She always won, unless she let me.
While we drifted apart after Uni (my fault), I always remember Anne with love and gratitude for the friendship we shared and the empathy she showed in spades. A special soul gone too soon. My heartfelt condolences to Anne’s family and friends.

I never met Anne Goulter, but in June sent a message to her regarding my son's report. She replied in such detail, pinpointing
several points where he could have used opportunities to improve his test performance. I was very impressed with her knowledge on one student when she must have so many different students. So saddened for her loss, primarily for her family, but also for her teaching skill and passion. I'm sure she'll be leaving a whole at OC that will be hard to fill.

So very sad to hear this news Paul and family. Anne was such a beautiful soul and even though I haven't seen her in a few years, I will always remember our anti-natal days when the kids were babies and as they grew up together with great fondness. RIP lovely lady you have been taken far too young.
