Anne GATES Obituary

GATES, Anne Caroline (nee Waddel). Peacefully at Auckland Hospital on Friday 6th June 2025 with family by her side. Much loved wife of Anthony, mother of Jeremy and Fiona, sister of Rosemary and grandmother of 8. A service will be held at 11.00am, Thursday 12th June at St Andrews Parish, 116 Selwyn Avenue, Mission Bay. The service will be live streamed www.sibuns.co.nz. In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA would be appreciated https://www.spca.nz/donate

Our sincere condolences to Tony and family. Anne was a brave and much loved woman - her dedication to the sport she loved was unequalled. A foundation and life member of the Auckland Rugby Supporters Club and Secretary for years - a true and genuine friend to many. We will miss you Anne. Bob Perry and Jackie Bagnall (two of your rugby mates).
