Anne GARDINER Obituary

GARDINER, Anne Marilyn(nee Copson). On 22 October 2022, aged 72. At rest now after a long battle. A very special person. Much loved wife of the late Dale Gardiner and beloved mother to Quinn and Jaan and grandma to Logan, Nico and Tomi. Loved sister of John, Teresa and Thomas and beloved aunt to their children Andrew, James, Marcus, Craig and Shane. A big thank you to all the dedicated staff at Mercy Hospice, Ponsonby ,Edmund Hillary Hospital , Canopy Cancer care and all medical teams. A private family service will take place in Auckland followed by a celebration of Anne's life to be held in Queenstown on 4 November 2022.

A most amazing lady!

I was blessed to meet Anne in the last months of her life.

She was so positive and uplifting. I also met her son and brother over a few visits. Anne was so proud of them and I can see why.They sat with her for such long periods.Such a loving family.

Met Ann in the very early days of courting Dale. He was smitten and everyone else, with those big smiling eyes. Dennis and I saw a lot of them in the early 70s staying with them in Queenstown. Her beautiful knitting has always being a memory for me. Quinn and Jaan always turned out in the best. Ann was always a welcoming and beautiful lady. Our memories in Queenstown were amazing. Thankyou both. God Bless.

Anne you where amazing lady always had warm welcoming smile I´m so fortunate to have met you and became great friends will treasure the ph calls and messages over the years and recently I´m sure your looking down and seeing a lovely family you raised and weren´t you proud of them .
