Anna Mazurek Obituary
Anna M. (Moscak) Mazurek, 76, of West Deer Township, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at her residence. Born March 29, 1930, in Blawnox, she lived in West Deer for 59 years. Ann worked as a floor manager for the former G.C. Murphy Co., in East Liberty, and was a member of St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford, and the Deer Lakes Merchant Bowling League. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, flea marketing, bowling, cooking, and puzzle books. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edward Mazurek; a son, John (Sherrie) Mazurek, of Saxonburg; three daughters, Nancy (David) Heiber, of Bairdford, Terry (Steve) Zimmerman, of Culmerville, and Janet Groff, of Curtisville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Alex) Frenchko, of West Deer; and a brother, John (Anne) Moscak, of Blawnox. Preceded in death by her parents, Vasil and Nancy (Hrivnak) Moscak; a son, Edward Mazurek Jr.; and a brother, Michael Moscak. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. Blessing service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
