Anna F. (Struhalla) Matura, 91, of Connellsville, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Mount St. Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born Oct. 3, l910, in Leisenring #3, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Bilovesky) Struhalla. Prior to her many years working as a loving homemaker, she was employed for a short time by the Connellsville Area School District in the dietary department. Anna was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, where both she and her husband served as sacristans. She was also a member of The Christian Mothers and the Rosary Society. She is survived by four daughters, Gloria Wert and her husband, Paul, of Phoenix, Ariz., Mary Ann Zylka and her husband, Louis, of Jackson, Miss., Theresa Conko and her husband, James, of Fredrick, Md., Kathy Patterson and her husband, Charles, of Bowie, Md.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Matura (1998); a son, Paul David Matura; a brother, Joseph Struhalla; and four sisters, Mary and Sophie Gmitter, Susan Voitos and Catherine Martin. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in The PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at I0 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist RC Church with the Rev. Father John Butler as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist RC Church Cemetery, Connellsville. A parish wake service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 4 p.m.
