Ann WELLS Obituary

WELLS, Ann Lockhart. Passed away peacefully on 5th December 2025, in Whangarei aged 85 years. Loved daughter of Tom and Nancy Wells, late of Awakino Point, Dargaville. Loved sister and sister-in-law of John and Briar (deceased) of Mapua, Tasman. Merle and Ross Newlove of Dargaville. Favourite Aunty to Graham and Adele, Duncan and Anne- Marie, Kathryn and Craig, Pam, Wendy, Fiona and Tom. A service for Ann will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Dargaville, (58 Hokianga Road, Dargaville), at 1:00pm on Thursday 11th December 2025 followed by interment at the new Mt Wesley Lawn cemetery. My condolences to all of Ann's family. She was a very well respected by all of her friends & staff who worked with her for over fifty years at Northpower. I will remember her as a dedicated & loyal lady & her quiet presence will be missed at our monthly Northpower luncheons as it already has over the last year due to her declining health. Fish & Chips was always her favourite menu selection each month. Prior to working my last 11 years at Northpower I had known Ann through my late friend Isobel Snell when they both lived in Armstrong Avenue.
