Ann LAWSON Obituary

LAWSON, Ann Maree (Maree). Died peacefully in her sleep at home in Omokoroa on Saturday 16th of December 2023, days after her 69th birthday. She was a precious friend to the Yaya's and scores of others. She was generous, kind, loving and stoical in her last days. She was an organiser supreme, and had far reaching contacts which she used to help people in various ways. She had an immense impact on many people across her professional, personal and sporting (golf) lives. Maree was irreplacable as one of the Yaya's and our get togethers will never be the same. Our wonderful angel Ronnie was with you right to the end, and we will never forget her selfless efforts in caring for you. Goodbye our darling - The Yaya's - Ronnie, Catherine, Denise and Sue xxxx

I have only just heard this very sad news! Knew Maree for many years with her Radio connections working with me on Auckland Home Show, she was always so lovely. I also caught up with her personally a few times between 2020-2022, she was so helpful to me, and I was so pleased to see her turn redundancy into something positive and got to meet the naughty wee Cilla! She will have left a massive hole in many peoples' lives and I send love and best wishes to all those close to her. Sadly missed, never forgotten XX
