Ann and I were flatmates for a couple of years in the early 70s. Some lovely thoughts and memories and people/events have come to mind that Ann involved me with
Clonbern Rd, Court Clerk, Jack, John, Sylvia, Arnold, Diabetes Lead up/diagnosis ( and Ann's "I can't do this" but her inner strength won over),Roger
RIP Ann, ever the lady, always conducting yourself with grace.

Anne was our neighbour in Greenhithe who became a close friend. Our friendship endured long after we each moved to different suburbs and cities. During her 2023 cruise around New Zealand, she had a brief stop in Dunedin. Jo was so happy to show her around our town - they even managed to fit in an open home, we all know how much Anne loved those!
Always thoughtful and full of joy, she was a beacon of kindness, strength, and wisdom. Her gift to those around her was the way her conversations would always leave you feeling wiser, happier, and at peace. Our family shared many meals, outings, laughter, and countless happy memories with Anne. We wish we had more time with her, and we will miss her deeply.

I met Ann when I was 10 years old and ever since she has been a role model, friend, and source of wisdom. Ann lived in the same driveway as my family. I always cherish my memories of going to each other's home, sharing my baking with her and countless other treats, talking about property, going to open homes followed promptly by the cafe, enjoying meals together at restaurants, and having conversations that would last until it was dark. I made so many cups of tea during those years in Greenhithe, that I still remember exactly how she likes her tea! Even though we were no longer neighbours, I often wondered what she was up to, and it never failed to make me smile. Ann was a class act, and her strength made me believe she was invincible. She truly was one of a kind, and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know her.
