Andrew WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Andrew Forrester (Andy). Reg. No. 66019, Staff Sergeant, 14th Light AA Regiment, WWII). Andrew died peacefully at Grace Joel Village, Auckland, on 28 July 2016, in his 98th year, with his family at his side. Dearly loved husband of Jean (nee Bruce) (deceased) who was the mother of his children Ian, and Jennifer, dearly loved husband of Berys (nee Wilson) (deceased), and for the last forty plus years dearly loved and cherished husband and best friend of Hilary (formerly Rinckes, nee Agar). Dearly loved father and father in law of Ian (deceased) and Rene Huyton (Perth and Spain), and Jennifer and Ian Miller (Sydney). Much loved grandfather of Abigail Wilson, Andrew and Robert Miller, and Great-grandfather of Freyja. Loved and respected step-father and step-father in law of Katrina (deceased), Jon and Olwynne, Julian and Marjorie, and Karly Honeybone. Loved 'Grandy' of Danielle; Julia and Mikayla; Stephanie and Toni; Sam and Ben; and step great grandfather of Georgia. The family wish to thank Arthur, the staff and nurses (especially his personal carer Raj) at Grace Joel for their care of Andy while he was resident there.
