I was very sorry to hear Andrew has passed away with his diabetes complications.
I have been reminiscent of the fun times we had together in Auckland in the 80s and 90s and have been looking through photos to share with the family, bringing back so many memories.
Andrew loved fishing. They were always out catching snapper when they could, mostly in Andrew´s boat.
He made us laugh so much with his jokes. We had "Billy T" nights at our flat where he turned up to watch the shows and then take him off pat.
Andrew and Rona lived around the corner in Murrays Bay, so we saw a lot of them.
He was very proud of his children, Kate, and James when they were born and was a doting dad.
When Steve and I moved to Kaka Point he came and stayed with us. He was very excited we had a café and takeaways business and sampled the goods enjoying his favourite - hotdogs.
Condolences to Joan, Kate, James, and families. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Kindest regards
