I was blessed be Andrew´s friend at school, University and later in the UK. For a precious time we lived and worked together. We shared some wonderful experiences and Andrew is deeply connected to events that shaped the direction of my life. He was thoughtful, funny, kind and a little mischievous.
Even though our journeys parted some time ago, I will miss him. He has often been in my thoughts. I am sorry that we will not now have the chance to meet again, perhaps to rekindle our friendship, as 'old' men, husbands and fathers.
I offer my deepest condolences to Andrew´s wife and daughter, and to his Mother Alison, who I remember laughing with in happier times.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew at work in Bristol in 1995. He was great company and could tell some amazing stories. We shared a flat briefly in London as well. Bizarrely I bumped into him and his Mum in Naxos once. What were the chances? I lost touch, but I am so grateful I knew him. Deepest sympathies to his family.

We shared an adventure of a lifetime in our late twenties and Andrew was a great travel companion. I will never forget Andrew’s wit, intellect and the time we spent exploring the world together. My deepest condolences to the family.

Andrew was a wondeful neighbour. His thoughtfulness and generosity meant he mowed all the berms on his side of the street. Before a storm he cleaned up the leaves to keep water out of our properties. And our neighbourhood has a beautiful late-flowering cherry planted and nurtured by Andrew and family. We adored seeing him nurture his little bike-riding daughter on his big bike.
With love and appreciation, Keryn and Dale Johnson

Andrew - although we hadn't seen one another in person since Uni days, I'm glad we caught up via the 'net. Your sense of humour was priceless and will be missed. Vale Sjogren!

I was fortunate to work with Andrew for a short time. He was a wonderful human, kind, caring, humble, authentic, and with a sharp dry wit. I last saw him about a year ago outside the Olympic gym where we spoke and had a laugh for about 30 minutes. I feel privileged to have met him.My heart goes out to his family at this terribly sad time.
