From the Montmarte in Wellington in '66, to the months we spent in the wilderness in Christchurch in '67 trying to get a band together, to the times we met up again in Auckland in the 70's, so many memories of my experiences with Andrew come flooding back. I can't believe we never go to play on stage together, but I think you really needed some decent musicians around you and I was basically a kid with an attitude. Those were amazing times though and I was so blessed by your friendship. If I ever learn all the chords to "I only have eyes for you" by Simon and Garfunkle, you'll hear me playing it from wherever you may be now. Loved you Andrew.
My deepest condolences to you family.

My condolences to the wider family. I knew Andrew quite well in the early seventies when he used to sing ( on & off ) with a band i managed in Wellington at the time called Gumboot.
What a great singer he was.

I met Andrew working backstage at Hair, Sydney Metro theatre back in '69. We became instant friends and remained that way.
One of those 'special' people one is privileged to have known in life. Goodbye mate, you will always be remembered with great affection.
My sincerest condolences to the Parata family.
