Andrew MCINTYRE Obituary

I have just read the sad news, I did not know Andrew had died I was in Chambers with Andrew in Terrace Chambers and we worked together.

I now live in France and am back in NZ and wanted to catch up with Andrew.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Andrew.

So terribly sad and shocked to hear of (only yesterday) of Andrew's passing. In a world where so many don't give the time of day, Andrew always had a smile, time for you and was interested in you. Although it is decades since we last met, in Christchurch at university, I always had the greatest of respect for you and your approach to life Andrew. Rest in peace Andrew.

Terribly sorry to hear of the passing of an old mate.

Deeply saddened to hear of Andrew leaving us. He was always enthusiastic, warm and lovely to converse with on the all too infrequent times that he and I met in recent years. A dear colleague and friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with Emma, Luke, Rebecca and Tom today, and in the days to come.

We are still all in shock after hearing of the passing of Mac. We lived together, played together, studied together during those glorious university days in the early eighties. His energy, his humour, his laugh, his intelligence. He was well loved and respected. Some of the jokes and stories we shared, usually late at night with a mandatory Steinie, I still recall as if it were yesterday. We love and miss you Mac. Give our best to Geoff and Tracey. See you when I see you Mate. Linesy.

Very sad to be told of Andrew's death. I remember the lunch he, his brother David and I had in Brisbane some years ago to discuss all things rugby. He was a gentleman. We had both been partners at Phillips Fox Lawyers in different countries. May his family and friends find strength and courage in the days ahead. Remember all of those happy times you shared. Rest in peace Andrew.
