SOLIA, Anaitera'i Makalio Hey Ma, Been 17 years now and still miss you heaps. Lots has happened since last year. Matthew got married, Temapare came home for Xmas from Canada, Sofia won Mardi Cup at school but I think she's a fully fledged member of the workforce now. Lani is in her final year at Santa Maria, but Aaron and Makaela are starting secondary now, Aaron Y9 (F3) and Kaela finishing F2. Charlie also starts F3 in 2025 and I think Markie starts F1 not sure. Can't keep up with them. Miller still trucking along like he normally does and Anabel is still my little princess in a nice way. Peter, Dani and I went for the wedding but your teacher daughter still does not own a passport. Sisi and Joyita were also there and Stephanie was a bridesmaid. Real schamozzle but too expensive to tell you all, but we couldn't all wait to come home. Ross even came up from Melbourne, but had to basically turn around and go home after dinner as he was flying out for work the next day. Alllouma looked nice in her MOTG outfit, Peter wore a suit, never seen him in one before but he scrubbed up well. We went to Bali for our family holiday this year. Ross, Sam, Charlie and Markie came from Oz and the rest of us met them a day later in Bali. The kids enjoyed themselves as much as the adults did and were a bit deflated when we came home as there was no more "room service." Managed to get in a few massages, went on a coupla day trips, but I don't think I will miss Bali at all. Certainly not my cuppa coffee, but the kids loved it. Celebrated our 50th there, but not the same. Bill's brother John and his wife also celebrated their 50th in March, they didn't have a "do" but I sent them a card wih $50 dollars to signify $1 per year of their marriage. John sent me a message and thanked me for the koha. Kevin and I drove to Wellington last Tuesday to take your industrial machine down for Aleti. We left Redoubt Road around 7.30, had a couple of stops and arrived at Dani's around 4.30. Not bad, then turned around and came home next morning with similar stops back. We were lucky with weather and just took our time coming home. Well Ma, Kevin is just taking Grace for a dental checkup while I finish this. I took some orchids to cemetery and the one David planted is also flowering so you're spoiled for orchids this year. I really miss you Ma seeing that both you and Bill are together and I'm on my own. Hope you're feeling sorry for me because I sure am. I'll catch up with you again Ma later. Alofa tele atu. Your soppy big girl.
