I miss you Amie. I think about you everyday, and the milestones you would of made since you have been gone. So much has been achieved, and if you were here there is so much you would of done and achieved as well like you already have before. We all love you Amie and I just wish we had become better friends. You are my inspiration on the court always. As surreal as it is for me, I couldnt imagine what it would be like for your family. I watch Hayden play, and support him as he supports you. Never forgotten Amie. You're in my heart always. ♥♥♥

It was my absolute pleasure to teach Amie at St Josephs. A student I remember very clearly, for all the right reasons. A delightful young girl with amazing work habits, determination and always always had a kind word, thought and smile. Rest in peace with the Angels Amie. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

In December 2007, I wrote your Saint Joseph's School report. You and your family would have read it and been very proud because you were indeed an outstanding student in all aspects of school life. I recall that you -and your classroom friends- loved using matches to light that big prayer candle at every opportunity. Now, your candle will burn for ever in our hearts. That's how I will always remember you Amie.

We loved you Amie. No matter what, you will (forever) be in our hearts for all time & eternity. You were truly a one-of-a-kind person/player & truly deserved the MVP award. The Lord must have truly needed you, to have called you back home so early. We were blessed to have you, here on earth, for the short time we did as you were truly an angel! Amie was a very well respected pupil of St Joseph's School Morrinsville for 8 years.
Her strong faith, caring, responsible nature and positive personality ensured that she was both involved and valued.
Amie's determination and skills brought her provincial and national success in basketball at a young age and she was also a very strong swimmer. We are so proud of her many sporting and academic achievements.
A great leader - friendly, inclusive, well organised, kind - and keen to be part of any action or fun.
Amie was devoted to and loving of, all her family and friends. She will be forever remembered and sadly missed.
Rest in perfect peace Amie, wonderful, wonderful girl.

Every so often in an ordinary world we come across an extraordinary person. Amie was one of these, her kindness, compassion, leadership and love made her someone we will always remember with fondness and love. There are so many broken hearts at the moment and so many struggling with the unfairness of it all. All of our thoughts and prayers are with Amie and her family now and in the future as we learn to live with a hole that seems impossible to fill. Kia kaha Russell whanau.
