Amanda BEDBROOK Obituary

BEDBROOK, Amanda Jane. 17 March 1952. It is with sadness that we announce the death of Amanda on 18 March 2022. Dearly loved Mother of Anna and Lucy. Treasured Grandmother to Theo, Finn and Quentin. Much loved sister of Priscilla and a wonderful friend to so many. A celebration of Amanda's life will be held at All Saint's Chapel at Purewa Cemetery 100/102 St John's Road Meadowbank Auckland 2 pm Friday 25th March. Please note vaccination passes will be required. For details of the live stream please email [email protected] . In lieu of flowers donations to St Johns Ambulance service in Amanda's memory would be appreciated.

I was 15 years old at Papatoetoe High School in 1967. A time when I loved Amanda more than anyone else on earth. Alas for me, I was yearning for someone out of reach. For she loved another. Fifty six years on and that image of her from so long ago has never left me. And it never will. She was beautiful then. She is beautiful now.
