Althea BARR Obituary

BARR, Althea Margarett. Passed away peacefully on 9 April 2026, aged 79 years. Much-loved wife of Arne Barr. Adored mother and mother- in-law of Sarah-Jane and Huw, Lucy and Gareth, and David and Catherine. Awesome Granny, to Ella, Leo, Mia, Jamie, Evie, and Alex. Much- loved sister of Dionys and Lionel. We will never forget your unconditional love, kind heart, sense of humour and creativity. Now in the loving arms of Jesus. The funeral service will be held in St Elizabeth's Anglican Church, 182 Finlayson Avenue, Clendon, on Monday, 13 April at 2pm.

Condolences to Sarah, Lucy and David and families at losing a wonderful Mum and Grandma. I have her poems and shared them with many of my friends. Remembering Arne also, and the early St Luke´s days when Althea, Darion, I and others used to meet for Bible Studies and fellowship with our young children. Now with Jesus.
