To John, and all your family and friends,
So very sad to hear that this amazing woman has passed. Allison Adams was a passionate and dedicated lawyer, who went beyond her professional service to secure the best possible outcome for the children she represented.
I am enormously grateful for the passion of her advocacy for my family as we began our life in Auckland many years ago. Her support for my evolving interest in community development was encouraging, stalwart and practical.
She was a key person on the board of the Lifeboyz Trust and was generous with knowledge and expertise she brought to the table. She believed in my visions, and helped me make stuff happen.
My thoughts go to John Adams, and extended family. She lived her life fiercely and showed what an indomitable spirit could achieve.
Rest peacefully Allison. x x x

Dear John and family. I am so sorry to only learn of Allison's passing. She was a wonderful boss to me and I thoroughly enjoyed working for her. I had so much respect for her and wont forget the beautiful knitting she did when I had the twins. So truly sorry such a great loss. My condolences to you John and family. My heartfelt condolences to you John and your family. I had the priviledge of working alsongside Allison.
Allison had such a command of Family Law and was always the biggest advocate as a Lawyer for children.
I will miss her, and my apologies for not making it to the memorial service as I was not able to attend.
John, the way you cared for your wife was nothing short of amazing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your children and grandchildren.
Rest in love Allison

Allison we were so privileged to have you as Convenor of Auckland Standards Committee 4. Your nine years of voluntary service are greatly appreciated. It seems only yesterday that you were here at the branch chairing one of our meetings. Your energy, wisdom intellect and tireless work ethic inspired us all. Our condolences to John and the family.

A huge loss to the legal profession and the family law arena in NZ with the passing of Allison...a strong female role model I looked up to, battled wills and cases with, respected, took advice from as a much younger inexperienced counsel in my early career, and always listened to in later years as your advice was always invaluable...and I always enjoyed chatting with even when you left Auckland.. We had our differences of opinion in the legal arenas, but I never lost respect for you. RIP Allison Adams. Thinking of you John and family.

During her years as one of our Trustees, and since, her energy, enthusiasm and intellect brought us much comfort, joy and comradeship. She will be greatly missed and our heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to her loving and much loved family in this hard time. Much love from Nicola, Kathryn, Kelly-Ann, Kirsty, Maureen and everyone else here xxx
