Allan WHITE Obituary

To David Sally and Peter. Sad to learn today of Allans death. My last memory of him was at Auckland Airport where he was being wheeled out to his plane to Kerikeri. Smiling and talking animatedly to the air hostess. He lived a very full life. Condolences to you all

Dear everyone in the White family,


The kindness that Dr White showed me, through his soft and caring conversations were so profound that they have remained with me through my adult years. Both my Father and Grandfather had so much respect for his profession and the person he was. I guess not only as our family Dr, but they also shared a passion of aviation. I messaged my father John, who advised that he saw Dr Allan a couple of months ago. I am pleased that they managed to stay in touch. I never wrote to Dr White or to Mrs White, but for some reason I did think of them often, and still do so to today.

The surgery in Taihape at the side of the beautiful two storied home holds many memories. Dr White was well respected in the community. I was grateful for knowing for him.

I do not know any of you personally, but I felt compelled to write to express my condolences at this sad time for you all. You are all in my thoughts at this time.

May you find comfort in knowing just how special your family has been to an outsider.

Condolence to the Family of a Good Boss that we had in Vietnam. Shared many a laugh together both in Vietnam and lately in Tauranga when I have been visiting my son and sisters.I know he enjoyed some of the funny emails I forwarded onto him. He will be missed.I will be at the funeral.
