Allan WATSON Obituary

WATSON, Allan Douglas (RNZN NZ16930). On 24th of June 2024, passed away peacefully at Auckland City hospital, aged 80. Loved husband of Leonie. Step-father to Michael. Brother-in-law to Sheryl, and loved uncle to Jason and Jacqui. A dedicated community member of the Salvation Army, loved friend and community member to many. The family will hold a funeral service at Grange Manor Chapel of Davis Funeral, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden on Saturday 29th June at 10.30am.

My deepest condolences to Leonie and family for the loss of a very sweet soul, whom I got to know when he use to purchase his magazines at Royal Oak Paper Plus many years ago.
He always enjoyed having a chat.

Allan 'Rods'. Our thoughts are with Lionie & family at this time. A wonderful friend from Mainline Steam days in Parnell, and many times for coffee in Newmarket. and oh how those driving rods did shine. Allan will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Now rest in peace, dear friend.
