Allan Thomas Obituary

THOMAS, Allan Granville Beauchamp. Born 9 April 1942, Died 9 September 2010 peacefully at Wellington Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Jennifer (Shennan), beloved father of Beth and Nell and father-in- law of Edgar and Daniel, adored grandfather ("Tata") of Olive; much loved brother of Broughton and Rose and brother-in-law of Roddy, Heather, Carol and John, and treasured by their families. Dedicated teacher, colleague, musician, gardener and dog- owner. Sincere thanks to Dr Alwyn D'Souza and all the staff at Wellington Hospital who gave Allan such outstanding care through many months. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation would be appreciated and can be left at the service. Allan's funeral service will be held at Old Saint Paul's, Mulgrave Street, Thorndon, Wellington at 1pm Friday 17 September, to be followed by private cremation.
