Allan PARKINSON Obituary

PARKINSON, Allan Kenneth. Born February 9, 1933. Passed away on November 03, 2023. Loved and loving Husband for 68 years of Pearl. Deeply loved Dad of Stephen and David, and Father-In-Law of Carol and Karen. Very special Gaggy of Rebecca and Sean. Step-Grandfather to Chris and Vanessa (Melbourne). Very precious GG of Zoe, Caris and Finlay. Great-Grandy of Camilla, Claudia, Nathan and Chloe (Melbourne). The family would like to thank the staff of Ward 15 at North Shore Hospital, also the staff at Taupaki Gables who were so kind, gentle and caring for Allan when he was in their care. Rosary at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 380 Main Road, Huapai, on Thursday 9th November at 7pm. Requiem Mass to be celebrated on Friday 10th November at 11am, St Patrick's Catholic Church, Huapai. He will be remembered as a gentleman with a sense of humour, a man whose aim in life was to make people laugh and who loved his family fiercely. You will be missed so much my love. Sleep peacefully.

Allan and Pearl were the best ever neighbours, they befriended us and looked after us and were guaranteed to make us laugh. Allan was always willing and helpful and we shared many a good time. Our lives are the better for knowing Pearl and Allan. RIP our friend.XX
