I am very sorry to hear of Allan's passing and my condolences to John and family. Allan was my manager at the ASB Downtown Branch in the early 1980s and his politeness, professionalism and work ethics set the bar pretty high for every other Bank Manager. One of natures true Gentlemen.

So sad to hear of the passing of Allan. He helped me with a start in the ASB and I will be forever grateful. The most polite man I have ever met with a cheeky wit to match. I am sure he is sharing a laugh right now with our Aunty Em. so sorry for your loss John, Rest In Peace Allan.

I worked with Allan in my first role with ASB in 1983, he was a lovely man and treated us all wth such respect. He was so professional, ahead of his time. Sometimes John would join Allan at work on our late nights for dinner. They made such a lovely couple. I often think of Allan and still rate him as one of the best people i have met. My Condolences to you all.
