Carol and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Allan's passing and with us being in the UK at present, time and circumstances prevent us being at the funeral. It goes without saying that both Pat and I plus Philip and Gareth send our sincere condolences to you and all the family.
We for one will concentrate on the good memories of our times with Allan; sheep herding, visits to the Steam Boat and pig roasts in the old brick oven, fantastic times and the memories will not be forgotten just as Allan will never be forgotten.
When he gets to wherever he is heading he will be growing tomatoes for one and all.
John, Pat, Philip and Gareth (Welch).

LIMBO. It was only several weeks back that Pam & I were with you and Carol swapping lies and talking about some of the antics we used to get up to when we were younger. Am going to miss your cook-ups.When you go through the pearly gates mate, leave your boots on otherwise someone might burn them. Will miss you. Ray (Slim) & Pam Murray. Invercargill.

ALLAN LIM:

ALLAN LIM: A dear friend and older brother we never had. From our market days to raising funds for our indoor basketball team days, we could always count on you to be there for us boots and all. In the days when you played for the Chinese Franklin Dragons, you were renowned not only for your repertoire of innovative moves on the court, but also for your flagrant bending of the rules and overzealous moves which often sparked a clearing of the benches! Oh, but that was you to a T, Allan whether on the court or in life, you played by your own set of rules and tested whatever boundaries were set before you. And, to top it all off, you always made sure you told everyone just how good you were. That's the Allan we knew and will always remember, Rest in peace dear friend. You will truly be missed. Sylvia, Lynette and Christine (Fon-Lowe), formerly of Glenbrook
