YOUNG, Major Alister George. 970957, ED., QSM, JP., 11 April 1934 - 08 April 2012. Erin and family wish you to know that Alister died at home on Easter Sunday. He was looked after by his family who were with him all the way. He was loved by Erin for 58 years, and by his children David, Jane, Gretchen and Alison; by his grandchildren Abraham, Aaron and Lucy, George, Lilla and Louis, Timothy and Claudia; by his great- grandchildren Silas, Pearl and Jamaica Rose and Aaron's partner Joleen Pryce; and by his sons-in-law David Howman, David Rutherford and Gregg Blomfield. Alister served 5 Light Bty., and B.C. 31 Bty. Rosary at 141 Chelmsford St at 4.30pm Tuesday April 10. Requiem Mass at St Theresa's Catholic Church, Perth Street, at 2pm on Alister's birthday, April 11. Burial at Eastern Cemetery.
