Alistair WHYTE Obituary

WHYTE, Alistair John Hemi (Hemi). Born September 18, 1970. Our beloved Hemi passed suddenly after a long battle with SCA1. Devoted husband to Jacqui, epic Dad to Marama, Noah, Leo. Son of the late Jock and Rose Whyte. Dear baby brother to Gloria, Graham, Ataraiti and the late Vic. Brother of Kristine and the late Suzanne Whyte. Adored brother in law to Michelle, Nathan, Jane Maree, Steven. Cherished son-in-law of Chris and the late Jan Coleman. Dear uncle to his nieces and nephews. Best mate to many who were blessed with the longevity of his friendship. A celebration of his life will be held Friday 8 March 1pm, Pt Chev Bowling Club, 25 Dignan Street. In lieu of flowers donations to Rare Disorders NZ Charitable Trust

Jacqui we may not have caught up often but you guys held a very special part in the late Miles and my heart - the strength that you have both shown through this hideous illness whilst keeping your strong love for each other has shone through. Jacqui and family may your memories wrap around you tight at this time and help fill the huge void that has been left. Lots of love Theresa, Mark and the late Miles (cuz)

Born September 18, 1970. Passed away peacefully in Katikati on February 20, 2024, aged 53 years.

Beloved son of (Jock) John Donaldson Whyte and (Rose) Rosalind Caroline Whyte. Adored sibling of Suzanne and Kristine, and Christian, Victor, Gloria, Jennifer, Graham and Ataraiti.

He was a warm, kind and considerate Uncle of many, and Best Mate to many Good Souls.

Arohanui Little Bro.

Hemi is currently (28 February) at Morrisons Funerals in Henderson.
