WARD, Alistair John. Passed away peacefully on 22nd November 2021, aged 74. Very much loved husband of Pauline, cherished father and father-in-law of Chris and Ceci; David and Melissa. Much adored Papa of Jimmy, Mia and Paige. Loved brother of Warwick; Mary-Ann and Gerry; Grant and Sue, and treasured uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Beloved and respected by many, he will be greatly missed and kept forever in our hearts. A family funeral will be held at Purewa on Friday 26th November 2021 at 1pm followed by interment. The family are very grateful for the outstanding care from Dr. Fritha Hanning and the team at Canopy Cancer Care, as well as the doctors and staff at Mercy Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mercy Hospice or The Cancer Society would be appreciated.

I was saddened this week to hear that Alistair had passed away. He made a real contribution to the Saint Kentigern Community through his service on the Old Collegians Committee for many years. I know he will be missed by his many friends within the wider Saint Kentigern Community.
