Alistair MURRAY Obituary

MURRAY, Alistair Michael Edward. Tragically died as a result of a vehicle accident on 17 June 2021. Deeply loving and loved pillar of strength to fiance Anita Burton. Loved and devoted son of Michael and Christine. Cherished little brother to Nick and Janelle, Michelle and Olly, and Fiona and Sam. The most fun "Uncle Outside" to Finn, Zach, Sofia, Poppy, Mary and Will. Loved as a son and brother by Dave and Kitty Burton, and Hannah and Andrew Gray. A maker of life-long friends, patient, generous and kind, a talented golfer, cricketer and sportsperson, respected electrician, and lover of flight. So many shared memories with those he loved over a time sadly cut short. Alistair's family and friends vow to celebrate his life and make him proud every day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari at the service or online. Alistair's fiance and family ask that any correspondence be sent to the Murray / Burton Family c/- PO Box 4449 Hamilton 3247. Pellows Funeral Directors FDANZ

Alistair, or Alice to us, worked with us whilst he was in the UK.

Every day it was a pleasure to work with him, he was always polite and cheerful and the office was a better place the moment he walked in.

He was such a lovely lad and we always said he must have great parents to become the person he was.

We were horrified to learn of his passing and cannot begin to imagine how those close to him must be feeling.

He was the dearest soul and will always have a special place in our hearts.
