Alison KRAUSE Obituary

KRAUSE, Alison (Gaye). On Thursday 18th October 2018 peacefully at Whakatane Hospital in her 85th year. Loved wife and best friend of the late Bob. Adored Mother and Mother in law of Robyn and Ray Larsen, Wendy and Tony Brown, Bev and Stuart and the late Tony Gerretzen, Dennis and Jan Krause. Much loved grandmother of Ben, Michael, Chris, Robert, Grant, David, Justin, Darren, Hayley, Rachael, James, Jeff and Sara, and great grandmother of 16. A funeral service for Gaye will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane, on Tuesday 23rd of October at 2.30pm followed by a private cremation. Messages please to the Krause family, C/- PO Box 2070 Whakatane.

The little time a got to spend in the presence of Gaye was lovely. She was a kind caring woman who loved and supported all her family. Thank you Bev for allowing me to meet your mother, what a blessing she was to you all. You all will continue in making her proud by being the people you are (who she helped shape into kind loving people). My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

So sad to hear of Gayes passing.
Will always remember her contagious smile, and although we didn't see a lot of Gaye and Bob, we always enjoyed our times with them.
