Dear Johnny,Delwynne,Robynne,Rosalyn and Andrea and families.
I was greatly saddened to learn of Alison's passing which was quite a shock to me even though I was aware that she had not been in the best of health for some considerable time. I will miss those long and usually humerous telephone conversations we used to have. I have known Alison since 1961 when she first came to Auckland from Paeroa. We are cousins through the McLachlan line. Alison's great grandmother Annie Catherine Spraggon and my grandmother Mary Christina White were sisters. Hope you are all well and coping with Alison's passing as best as can be expected.
With love and best wishes. Adrian Enright. Ph 021 02439920

I send my sincere condolences to Alison's family and friends and to her sisters, Jenny and Christine. At this sad time I too remember some of the good times we had years ago. Alison and I are only 6 weeks apart in age. We got together for many school holidays. My mother, Miro, and I took the train then bus to Paeroa or wherever you lived. Your parents gave us a busy happy time. You three and your mother, Kath, came by train to Wellington and stayed with us. More fun and games, picture theatre, cable car rides etc. Your parents, Kath and Matt, and my parents, Miro and Ben, were lifelong friends.
Maree and I watched the beautiful celebration of Alison's life. So pleased to be reminded of her passion for gardening. What a talented musical family you are.
Our thoughts are with you all. I will miss my phone chats with Alison.
May she rest in peace
