FAIRTHORNE, Alison Leslie (Big Al). With heaviest hearts Wayne, Megan and Melanie Fairthorne would like to invite family and friends to join us for an open luncheon at their home in Paparoa this coming Saturday 5 March 2022 from 11.00am to celebrate Ali's life. All family and friends are welcome. As per mum's wishes, it will be a happy time of memories for all who'd like to pay their respects. This will be a vaccinated event. (As this is an informal gathering, Please bring a camp chair or cushion etc... for seating) In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to Harbour Hospice Hibiscus Coast, whom gave Alison the most respectful and dignified send off. They went above and beyond for her and our family. harbourhospice.org.nz

Hello Wayne, I'm really very sad reading of Ali's passing. I have fond memories of you two, from a time when the girls were still at school and Dougie sang Deano.
From somewhere a long way back, I wish it wasn't so.
