I met alison in the 80s travelling by bus to the cbd when we discovered we both worked for the ANZ Bank, but at different branches in the city. It was the beginning of a long and happy friendship. Alison was a caring, generous and valued friend. Whenever a group of us ANZ girls got together for a lunch l would ask who would like some water and Alison would reply, "water is good for lot of things but not for drinking". It will be my abiding memory whenever I have a drink of water Alison my dear friend, whom I shall miss more than I can say. You fought a courageous battle to the end, shalom may you now rest in peace. Love ros
