Dear Janice and Keith,
So sorry for the loss of your Mother over the Holidays. I lost my Dad four years ago at Thanksgiving so I understand what you are going through now, but next year will be so different. You will see it as a time to celebrate her Life. I had your Mom as a Home Ec. teacher at Derby Academy and your sister Carol was my best friend.Please know that you are in my thoughts.Blessed be.............

Keith, I have such fond memories of your mom from my time at the Jr. High. Like so many young ladies of that time, your mom taught me how to sew and I still have the apron that I made in her class. She was a wonderful lady. My thoughts are with you.

I was fortunate to have Alice as a mentor when I first arrived at NCUJHS as a young teacher. We had some great conversations and she was always there to lend a hand. I was fortunate enough to see her when we performed for the Holiday at Michaud Manor. Both of our thoughts are with you.

I was saddened to hear the passing of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. When I think of her I will always remember her smile. I especially enjoyed her friendship when I first moved to Derby Line and joined the Canusa group. Unfortunatley, in recent years our paths have not crossed very often.
