Alfred FLETCHER Obituary

FLETCHER, Alfred. Service No. 44701 RNZAF WW11. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on 24th April 2013. Loving husband to Ruby. Father to Barbara, Wayne, Mandy and Clem. Grandad to Kylie, Pippa, Anya, Katie, Haden, Mattie, Ashleigh, Rachel, Kurt, Georgia and Yanni. Service for Alf will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Rd, Meadowbank on Wednesday 1st May 2013 at 2.30pm. All communications to the Fletcher Family to PO Box 125-013 St Heliers, Auckland 1740. In lieu of floral tributes a donation to the Alzheimer's NZ or SPCA can be given at the Service.

I have such wonderful memories of your dear Alf .
The hospitality at the Fletchers after our 1st 15 games will never be forgotten with Alf filling everyones glass

To Ruby and family- many memorable memories are stored for ever- Alf was a real character, a man not to be taken lightly, proud, achieved a great deal in his lifetime and he loved his family. A very good golfer in his day.From the times when he owned the garage in Newmarket to the many enjoyable nights at home. I recall a number of times when Alf thought it was either too late or we were making too much noise- he would show us the door in a way that only he could do! With all our love, Craig ,Sandie and the Manning children.
