Goodbye dad

Thank you Alec...... you hold a very special place in my heart. You were the perfect gentleman, someone to look up to, and with attitude, principles and such kindness and friendship as many may aspire to but very very few will ever come close to.
Your memory will continue to inspire me.
I feel very fortunate to have had you as such a part of our lives.
I shall not read Robbie Burns without thinking of you

To The Connor clan and extended family and friends you are all in my thoughts at this saddest of times, and I'm sorry not to have been able to come and say goodbye in person.

Thankyou to a wonderful man who treated our family as his own, and was a loyal and true friend to us all. I remember your wonderful wry sense of humour and big belly laughs, a colourful array of different dogs everytime we visited and a well tended crop of tomatoes out the back! I will always remember the way you would greet me with your strong Scottish burr, "Hellooo Marrrieee". Rest easy now x

Very special memories of Alec growing up as kids, I will always appreciate and remember the kindness he showed towards us in a difficult time. He always had a strong sense of calm, loyalty and strength which is inspirational. Love to friends and family at this sad time, thoughts with you all.
